Emma Robledo has a few more responsibilities that the usual high school senior, but then again, she and her friends have left school to lead a fractured Resistance movement against a corrupt Heroes League of Heroes. These books are the perfect lighthearted low quality books I need every now and then. The writing is mediocre and sometimes confusing and the plot is very predictable, but I still enjoy reading them. This was probably still my least favorite in the series just because I‘m not a fan of the jealous best friend of the chosen one trope. But hey, a fun read‘s a fun read. 5⭐️
