pickAnother great crime series to add to my favourites. This is the 3rd book in the Logan McCrae set, a very dark but on occasion extremely funny, Scottish crime series. Just like Rebus, DS McCrae is not a perfect cop, but he's doing the best he can. Being pulled between two obnoxious DI's, Insh & Steel, he just tries to catch the bad guys, before ending the night at the pub & chippy in the stagger home. Recommend for fans if Rebus, Dalgliesh & Banks.
