🎧 still a bit blah with reading & this book didn‘t help me. Evolutionary leap ... girls now have the power to shoot electricity out of their hands. Well as to be expected all doesn‘t go well. I felt it had promise but didn‘t really deliver. This is the book for somebody just not me. Adult language, adult situations & a bit of horror. It wasn‘t bad but it wasn‘t good either. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Opening with letters between a male and female author, we learn that this is a historical fiction story trying to explain the events leading up to a great global military disaster which changed the future of the world. Set during the time when society started learning that women have evolved to contain an organ similar to that of an electric eel, we see the shifts in power and gender roles.
