A friend recently clued me in on the fact that Placentia Library District allows ANY California resident to sign up for a virtual card online! If you are an ebook or audiobook reader, this is a perfect way to support yet another public library! I filled out the application form online, and I had my library card number by the next morning. Today is my day to volunteer at the library bookstore so I was able to pick up my craft kit from the makerspace program. I even got a color I liked! I‘m loving the whole makerspace movement in libraries right now.

I managed to finish the February take and make project from my local library. I‘ve done cross stitch before but not basic embroidery so this was a nice intro. When things open up more I‘ll have to get more involved with the makerspace there.
