This was a very interesting idea, and I loved the ending, but it wandered off and lost me sometimes. I suppose if the narrator couldn't remember which memories were his and which weren't, it shouldn't be a surprise that I got confused occasionally!

It turns out I just don't care for KJ Parker. Of course the characters aren't supposed to be like able, but the writing style puts me off, too.
Anyone else have opinions about KJ Parker? I read one of the devices books a few years ago and really disliked it. I never could relate to the characters, and it was a long book that didn't go anywhere. This one's short, and hopefully more interesting.
