Hobbes: Leviathan
Hobbes: Leviathan: Revised Student Edition | Thomas Hobbes, Richard Tuck
Hobbes' Leviathan is arguably the greatest piece of political philosophy written in the English language. Since its first publication, Richard Tuck's edition of Leviathan has been recognized as the single most accurate and authoritative text, and for this revised edition Professor Tuck has provided a much-amplified and expanded introduction. Other vital study aids include an extensive guide to further reading, a note on textual matters, a chronology of important events and brief biographies of important persons mentioned in Hobbes' text.

Even on Serial Reader, this is a slog to get through. The content is passing through my eyes and brain without comprehension.

My daily dose of Leviathan with tonight's dinner: Mexican rice. Rice and corn and tomato sauce and ground turkey, eaten using tortilla chips as utensils 😄 Drink is cranberry ginger ale with a dollop of Jameson's whiskey 🍸

rabbitprincess @saresmoore Saves on dishwashing and is delicious! @DGRachel Me too! I associate it with my mum and Christmas 😊 @Sace It was! It's intended to be a recipe for using up leftover rice but we just make rice especially for this dish. 8y

As my Valentine to Me, I paid off my egregious library fine, then downloaded Hoopla (I'd only know about Overdrive!). 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤📚

For to accuse requires less eloquence, such is man's nature, than to excuse; and condemnation, than absolution, more resembles justice.
