If you‘re feeling confused, or overwhelmed by all the arguments in the gun debate, read this book. If you are mad and want a plan for change in America, read this book. I felt both angry and relieved at reading this book. The NRA is so scary, but the majority of US citizens do not want what the NRA wants. I loved that the last chapter was called “We Will Win.” Also, don‘t miss the Appendix: How to Talk To Gun People and Win.

This whole book has been fantastic, but I may have to copy this appendix and carry it around with me. I cannot with “gun people.”

saguarosally I‘m to a large extent one of those gun people. Will this book show me another perspective? I‘m seeing a lot more people who might generally consider themselves moderate or conservative becoming more interested in gun control and I‘m just curious about it. However, I‘m afraid that in this political climate that books about gun control will just be like “you have blood on your hands!” 6y
MelissaSue81 @saguarosally - hmm. I‘m not sure. This book is definitely on the more extreme end of the anti-gun debate, but I don‘t think they really place “blame” anywhere but with the NRA and Gun manufacturers themselves. He lays out a pretty detailed plan to reduce the amount of guns and gun violence in our society. I‘m not sure it‘s something moderates would agree with, but I think it makes sense. 6y

Fascinating author talk at a local bookstore- Main Point Books, about the current state of gun laws, the NRA and what can be done to reach an agreement between the Parties. Hopeful. #signedbook

LapReader I can‘t believe the gun laws in America so different to Australia. 6y
