This was such a fun read, with just the right amount of steam. I really enjoyed the secret agent vibe that coexisted with the shifters and the fae in the story. There was a part of the story that could be considered somewhat triggering, but it was minimal. However, while reading I had this feeling that I missed something. That‘s because though this is book one of the series, it is connected to a whole other series. However, I still enjoyed it.

Ehhhhh. This was okay. I picked it up because “Ooh, dragons!“, but then when I really started diving into it it lost a lot of its shine. I mean, it's not a BAD read, just...didn't have the kind of hook that tends to grab me for the paranormal romance series I'm deeply loyal to. And nope, not even the prospect of even more hot dragon shapeshifters was enough to want me to read the rest of the series. Oh well.

This was the first full length novel in this spinoff series and I know it will be just as good as her warriors books. Great romance, strong characters and a good build up of the good (dragons) vs. evil (still a mystery) #romantsy
