While I liked this book for the most part, there were still a few things that I didn‘t like about it but mostly I didn‘t find Kill to be very appealing as a romance hero, he was a little too secretive and high handed for me😶

The second book was definitely better than the first, but I'm still convinced Wallstreet is a backstabbing scumbag. I think that's a hill I'll die on, he was too much like the guy in Jurassic Park. I really didn't appreciate a female m.c. that was a vet, but didn't grasp basic concussion facts. So overall, I'm glad @CoverToCoverGirl suggested I finish the duet, but I think Ms.Winters and I are never getting back together.
So the second one has definitely been better than the first, though it's built on foundations I'm not really fond of and I think I still don't really like the characters. But I thought this was really, really great. I've read a ton of MC books and a woman has never been invited to church. I thought it was a great gesture @CoverToCoverGirl @Daughter-of-words
Yesterday I dealt with a busy work day, a terrible back ache, and my niece‘s birthday but I‘m starting today☺️ hopefully I can get through a good chunk of this bad boy since I‘m off today🤗 #currentlyreading #bookandbreakfast
