I am ridiculously excited for this book! I‘ve always liked books but Twilight was the first books to show me that reading could just be fun. Since reading them I went from maybe 1-2 books a year to reading 100+ a year. No matter what anyone says about these books they can never take away how important they were to me and how they ignited my love for reading❤️

pickOk I‘m gonna give this one a pick because it‘s still one of my fave series and I love the world and the characters so much, but our main characters didn‘t meet until 160 pages in and the romance was so rushed that I almost didn‘t care about it and just wanted to read the sub plots about the other recurring characters. I didn‘t hate it and the ending had me smiling like a goof the whole time, I just love these guys 🖤⚔️🖤

This story is wild, like I have no idea where it‘s going or what else could possibly go wrong but I‘m intrigued enough to care. My main problem is that the heroine is 15-16 while the hero is 22 and while the relationship is consensual and there‘s nothing overtly creepy about how he is with her, I just feel icky reading about it😬 Gonna read part 2now🤞😬

I‘ve been a huge fan of Showalter‘s for close to 10 years now, ever since I picked up my first Lords of the Underworld book. This series is just as good! It was a bit confusing at times cause there was a lot of information and characters to introduce but it‘s a promising new series. Can‘t wait for book 2!
