Once again the survivors find themselves involved in a war, only this war might come with much higher stakes. Backing down is not an option, but is it going to be worth it once the dust settles?

The artwork of the zombie hoards in this volume is extremely detailed and well done.

Amazing, as always. This is the best volume I've read in a while. To my surprise, I'm starting to fall in love with Negan. This panel made me laugh.

This was a good Volume! There were some key moments like Lucille being broken and Negan's eulogy to the "real" Lucille. I still don't know Negan's long term plan & am surprised me didn't hurt Alexandria. I was confused by the ending. So the Whisperers led thousands of walkers? Like what's the big deal? They've faced herds before. I couldn't remember certain characters like Vincent & their significance or that the Saviors were still their own group

Mehso-so

Compared to some of the other volumes, this one was a little weak. It seemed more a collection of 'transitional' stories that lead from a big plot twist to one that will follow in the future. Therefore, this only gets a so-so (and that only because one of the characters I've hated the most has finally kicked the bucket ;)).

MyNamesParadise I need to read this! Mine is due next week!! 8y

Excited that this came today. The end of Volume 26 blew my mind. So seeing the cover of Volume 27, with Negan in full 'Lucille' mode, whoa! Who knows what Kirkman will do next!? Love the unexpected and hope it doesn't break my heart. 😳😬🙄🤞 #catsoflitsy snoozing

DeborahSmall I bought the first compendium recently but I'd love the individual issues 8y
MyNamesParadise Mines coming soon at the library! I'm so excited!! 8y
MyNamesParadise @DeborahSmall I read each Volume at a time (6 issues to a Volume) and in the case of The Walking Dead, 8 volumes in a compendium. I have the three compendiums currently out. That's the cheapest way to own them and I ask for them for gifts ☺️ 8y
