I enjoyed this second half of the book. I like how a horror story was built mainly out of human reactions to stress and power struggles. It did seem like the ending was a bit too easy though. Also, I'm curious to know if people in Maine actually refer to pickup trucks as "pickemup trucks," or if Stephen King is just confused.

RebeccasReading Such a good read! I bought it when it came out- I didn't know they had split it into two parts now. 8y

This man is a genius! I sure did have fun reading it. Keeps you guessing. When it seems like all hope is lost you get a little ray of hope. It was entertaining, riveting, and full of action. Definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. A novel with a deep meaning, sure does make you think.🤓📚💕💀

tnorris I loved this book! Wasn't super thrilled with the ending, but everything else made up for it. Have you read 11/22/63?? Loved that one even more ☺️🤓 8y
TheBookAddict I haven't read that one yet, but I do have it and it's on TBR pile. I've heard great things about it! 8y
Little_Reader @TheBookAddict I second the recommendation by @tnorris to read 11/22/63. It's one of my favorite King novels! 8y
TheBookAddict @Little_Reader thanks, I shall definitely get to it after I finish reading the two library books I have. 8y

Getting closer to the end of the book and I have to admit that I have spilled a tear or two on it. 😢 in a spot most people would not, especially considering all of the death and destruction that has happened throughout both books.

Bringing the dome with me on this trip, hoping to finish reading it before the trip is done. Road trip to Missouri!

KennethTolesJr As I tried to say, before I so rudely spelled it incorrectly... I could see a dome forming from the Arch. It almost looks like a dome, when you turn your head sideways... Lol 8y
