Little Bones (UK)
Little Bones (UK) | Janette Jenkins
1 post | 1 read | 1 to read
'Little Bones' conjures a tawdry, tantalising, troubling world of unclear and conflicting sympathies - richly evocative and full of curiosities. Two people act against their consciences simply to get by, and the choices we make are called into question. Is it possible to commit abhorrent acts without being corrupted by them?

Mehso-so

Overall i liked the writing style of Janette Jenkins, but not this story so much.
Jane was a cripple in 1899 London, and she was sucked into assisting Dr. Swift with supplying tinctures to pregnant ladies after her family abandon her, it came as quite a shock to me when Swift backstabbed Jane and put all the blame of his workings onto her which ended her in prison.

One unanswered question though;
- What did Johnny Treble actually die from?
