THROUGH A MOTHER'S EYES
THROUGH A MOTHER'S EYES | Cary Allen Stone
“This has to be one of the most poignant heart-wrenching books I have ever read. A woman so driven to protect her child she takes his life. We often hear about women who murder their children, and those of us mothers cannot understand how someone can do that, but the truth of the matter is it is all in this book.”––Pam Thomas Reviews I sat inside a cell with a legal pad and voice recorder doing the interview. We followed her life from the day she was born to the night of the murder and her incarceration. She re-lived murdering Charley two feet from me. I saw the tension in her entire body. I watched her panicked motions cutting his wrists and throat, and the tears pouring from her mother's eyes. I knew Julie before the murder and might have had a chance to stop it. What's difficult to understand is she loved Charley. After I left her cell, I had to decompress so I wouldn't have tears in my eyes leaving the correctional facility.
