I was today years old when I learned that #GoodHeartedWoman was inspired when Waylon Jennings read an ad in the paper about Tina & Ike Turner that mentioned many of Tina‘s songs were about “good-hearted women loving two-timing men.” Willie Nelson added just 2 lines but got full writing credit with Waylon & Tina recorded the song in 1988 for her her album “Goes Country.”

This book made me love Tina more - honest, sometimes brutal and yet written with a simple positivity that pervades the whole story. Such an inspiring woman.
