March is national reading month so we did a book swap at work :) I could have also grabbed the new Emily Henry but I was a dolt and thought I already read it 😂

Was able to score 21 of the 38 from a thrift shop while on home visits today. Sadly my childhood faves: rainbow and thunder/lightning aren‘t here and my set was ruined in my parents basement. These copies are in perfect condition, I don‘t think they‘ve ever been read. I can‘t wait to share them with Wes!

pickMedium pick for me. I really loved the beginning, and the last 75-100 pages. I think the book could‘ve been shortened by 100-200 pages as at times it felt like there was needless fluff or meandering. It certainly kept me intrigued though! #LitsySciFiBookClub

Surgery went well! Scared and in pain when he woke up but asleep now.
Mid dec I messaged the Ellery Adams fb page to say how beautifully written the female offender Samantha was, and how much that meant to me working in the system with women. I don‘t post publicly for obvious reasons.
Today I got this response and cried. If you‘re not a cop, judge, or attorney most of the rest of us in the system remain unseen, despite having the day in/day out contact with folks. Today we were seen and so were our women ❤️
