Leftcoastzen @BarbaraBB @Cinfhen Louise was born in San Francisco, John Reed in Portland.American Journalists there to witness the idealistic early days of the people‘s revolution.The history is horrible & vast, hindsight is 20/20 & what happened in the Soviet Union changed dramatically from earlier ideology.Their work in the states was definitely about better conditions for working people.Much of that questioned capitalism.
