The best part of this book were the black and white picture pages. Sometimes a chapter book needs pages like this to split up the book and be able to carry on. This book portrays the perfect amount to keep it a chapter book but also keep it enjoyable for kids.
pickThe Dragon Thief, published in 2021 was the perfect book to feel good about yourself. It went in to teach about believing in yourself and feeling hopeful. It was showing some heavy topics that some children are not able to face but she took them and turned them into more understanding topics and made it more clear for them.

pickAnother audio book and puzzle! Cute kids book described as an urban fairytale. I work in a library at a K-6 school. I‘ve been trying to listen to books for grades 4-6 with diverse characters/themes to help instill a love of reading.
