So not what I was expecting!!! A ghost story? Romance? Suspense? Murder mystery? You decide for yourself after you read it!!! I‘m glad I read it in October!!!

Start of a new series!!! Easy to read, good old fashioned detective 🕵️‍♀️ novel. Set in the 70s so no cell phones or computers and only a mention of DNA. Not about murder it‘s a fine arts heist by a very shrewd cat burglar. Very, very good!!!!

Something was a bit off about this book. I liked the story but, having read all of the Stone Barrington books, this just didn‘t seem like one of them. I can‘t give anything specific, just a feeling.

A stand alone set in the late 1940s. Archer is released from prison and will do everything possible to not go back. Through almost no fault of his own, he may end up there anyway. This is part who dunnit and part good old fashioned detective work. Baldacci has written another great book!!!

Decent book. You can tell it‘s one of her earlier ones. A lot of twists and turns. Quite the mystery with some romance thrown in. Joanna is a reporter sent to cover the funeral of a famous actor. She ends up helping a lady named Rose who is visibly shaken by someone she sees. The rest is a roller coaster of a ride!!!

I‘m torn with this one. The main story seemed long and drawn out. However, the theme running throughout saved it. Self exploration, mother/daughter relationships, friendship, and women supporting women were some of the messages interwoven in the story.

This was a GREAT book!!! An FBI agent literally falls into a mass grave and it‘s Sayer‘s job to unravel the mystery of new corpses and old skeletons. So many twists and turns and suspects. Sayer is up against a true psychopath, or two, or three. The main mystery can be read as a stand-alone but for the sake of background and sub plots I highly recommend you read the book Caged first.

This was sooooo good!!! I was disappointed it wasn‘t a Lincoln Rhyme novel but it didn‘t disappoint. Colter Shaw collects rewards for a living. It‘s an interesting life. He finds himself in the middle of a series of kidnapping/murders. Can he collect his rewards and stop the game. The subplot of his background and family is also very interesting and leaves me hopeful there will be another book. Highly recommend!!!!!

This one sent my heart racing quite a few times. Maggie I‘ve sent in the mouth of the beast, Berlin, to help a Resistance group. Get in, plant the bug, get out. Those are her orders. Things don‘t go as planned. Great book. My favorite of the series, so far. 💜💜💜

If you love serial killers, suspense, brilliant police officers, and fast paced reads, then you have to start this series. In this one, Hunter and Garica are tracking someone who‘s kidnapping women and keeping them several weeks before killing them. The methods in which he kills them makes me slightly afraid of this author. He is truly diabolical. Great book and series. Highly recommend 💜💜💜
