This was a complete disappointment. I really wanted to have a different experience with this book compared to a lot of other unsavory reviews. It just wasn‘t interesting nor engaging. I was confused in the beginning and had to stop and review the title details to get my brain on track with the story line. The only redeeming quality is that it‘s signed. #MountTBR

This book was awful. It didn‘t even feel like Thomas Harris really had written it. 🤢

The only good thing about this book was Cari, I could pretty much see where he was going with the story from beginning to end and if you don't speak Spanish prepare to be Google translating something from just about every chapter. It's not worth the investment and that goes for money or time.

Well, that was a hot mess! So much happening, so many people who weren‘t really very distinguishable from each other, just all over the place. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The worst part being that there were a few elements that would have made for a great novel and more in line with what you‘d expect from Thomas Harris but felt just thrown in there.

So unexpected and disappointing from the author that brought us the classic ‘The Silence of the Lambs‘
