This little book is a gem for lovers of Paris and New York. It reduces the most typical aspects of each of the two cities to their very essence and matches them side by side in a powerful illustration and a few words.

The author is a graphic artist based in Paris. In the fall of 2010, during a long stay in New York, Vahram launched his first blog, Paris versus New York, a tally of two cities, which eventually led to this book.

diovival @Sarah83 The Louvre 😍 7y
Sarah83 Yes. 😊 I really liked it. We were the first ones, who entered the Louvre early in the morning and my class was more or less half an hour alone in this huge building. Really wonderful 😍 7y
diovival @Sarah83 That is awesome! I remember the crowd surrounding the Mona Lisa was so large I was like, "Naw, I'm good. I'll Google it." ? 7y
Sarah83 When we arrived at Mona Lisa, all I could see were the flash lights of several Japanese or Chinese cameras. 😄 7y
diovival @Sarah83 I ended up taking a picture of everyone else taking a picture of the painting. 7y
Sarah83 I bought myself a book about the Louvre and its paintings, so I had good photos without people. 😉 7y

Da ich das Gefühl hab, mir platzt der Kopf, ich aber ohne Lesen nicht schlafen kann, ziehe ich dieses 'Bilderbuch' dazwischen. 😍

I have the feeling, my head is tearing up... But I can't sleep, without reading some pages before, so I chose this picture book for this evening. 😍

Da hier ja soviele Anregungen gegeben werden, kann ich ja kaum anders, als mir immer wieder Nachschub besorgen. In letzter Zeit nehmen eindeutig die Graphic novels zu. 😍

There are so many recommendations upon litsy, that I have to order more and more new books. The latest books I ordered are often graphic novels. 😍

Sarah83 @vivastory A search photo for you, where is the book published by penguin? 😉 8y
vivastory Middle row, the book to the left of Henry Brown? 8y
Sarah83 @vivastory Two books left of Henry Brown right. 😉 Do you know it? But it isn't a classic penguin book. 😉 8y
vivastory I'm not familiar with it. What is it? 8y
Sarah83 @vivastory I'm not quite sure, I liked the cover. 😉 It seems like a picture book pointing at the differences between Paris and New York. Like Paris' people do this and New Yorkers do that. It's made in pop art style. 😉 8y
