And with this, I give you my last post of the night. I can‘t give this book a rating outright because each story was very different. Hence, the rating next to each story within the book. It‘s super short, and for someone that does not like sci-fi, these are pretty great.

The little surprise twists in these stories really catch you off guard.

A fast, enjoyable read (listen?)—like M Night Shyamalan‘s films, all of these short stories all have twist endings. Unlike his films, while some stories are better (and/or less predictable) than others, all of them are well-written and make sense. Some twists are sad, some are delightful. It‘s a slight book in comparison to Weir‘s other works, but worth the listen.

This was a fun short book of even shorter stories. They start off very clever, but after a few they are a bit repetitive. The last story, The Egg, was actually a bit different and I was quite fascinated with it. Over all, some good bedtime stories Enjoyed the narrators.
