A story based on true events. It‘s about a loyal Akita pup who walks with his owner to the train station every morning. When the owner boards the train the dog runs home and then returns to the train station a few minutes before his owner is due back. They have a routine and they stick to it...until that routine is broken.

A quick and short story that made me tear up. I have watched the movie before, but I had never read the book.

The moment you finish a book, look around, and you realize everyone is just carrying on with their lives...as though you didn‘t just experience emotional trauma at the hands of a paperback.
