Surprising enough I've never read anything on Hiroshima even though I love reading about Japan.
This book takes accounts of the people who survived.

Crazeedi I have this on my shelf, ordered it a while ago because of what I heard about it 3mo

I can't believe it's been 10 years since I started my Korean learning journey. I can't wrap my mind around it haha
I didn't expect to get this fair, especially with a language.
My mind has surprised me and my learning disability doesn't stop me.
This journey has opened so many doors for me and I can't be more thankful.
Here's to another 10 years and beyond!
Of course I've spoiled myself this year haha

So...its happening.
My family trip to Disneyland Paris has been cancelled because of personal family reason so I'm going to Birmingham for a couple of days to visit a friend and fangirl over Peaky Blinders.
The big thing for me is that I'm doing this trip SOLO!
At the moment I'm excited and looking forward to exploring the city and seeing my friend.
Of course I'm going on a Peaky Blinders walking tour.

Ich bin Anne of Cleves ?
Nice one seating biography about Anne of Cleves.
Informative and enjoyable although the author liked to use "in spite of"

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I can‘t say I know much about Anne of Cleves but her songs in Six the musical were my favourite. 1y
BookishRedhead @thegirlwiththelibrarybag i didn't till SIX tbh and her song is my favourite with Anne Boelyn close second 1y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @BookishRedhead, six the musical went so much harder than I was expecting - such a sensational show! Loved how each queen was modelled after pop singers (Anne Boleyn singing style was modelled on Lily Allen & Avril Lavigne ; Anne of Cleves on Nicki Minaj & Rihanna) 1y

BookishRedhead @thegirlwiththelibrarybag yes! I went to see it a few months ago (first time alone in London) and I had high hopes but wow the whole show was amazing and would definitely see it again in a heartbeat 1y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @BookishRedhead, I was so glad that it reopened in Melbourne this year. One of the saddest parts of the 2020 lockdowns was watching all my theatre and comedy show refunds come through 🥺 1y
BookishRedhead @thegirlwiththelibrarybag I was lucky that my only show was the David Bowie tribute 1y
