This is great if you want convincing that birding is good for mental health, as he structures the book on the NHS's five steps to well-being. In my case he is preaching to the choir. I've been watching birds for several years and know I am more at ease in myself for giving them my attention. I've grown to love them dearly. So I don't disagree with what he says: I would have liked more birds, though.
