Another satisfyingly good Matthew Swift book. A crisis threatens London—the sun won‘t rise, two groups of magic-wielders threaten war, and Swift must find a so-called chosen one while trying to fend off the embodiment of darkness stalking the streets. Intentionally pictured in front of my husband‘s Dresden Files books—because I feel Matthew Swift is urban fantasy done better. (Although I‘ve only read the first of the Dresden Files, so...🤷🏻♀️)
