so-so
More testimony than book, this very much reads like the author is talking to you, telling you her story. It feels like a therapy session. As such it is disorganized and emotionally charged and wrought with the authors pain. I wish that she had kept her story in one volume versus breaking it up, it ends very abruptly which I'm not a fan of. Reading the authors bio at the end gives you a glimpse into how she has risen and overcome her circumstances.
