I think this book introduced me to Connie Willis. Her short story about a teacher trying to teach Shakespeare to a class in 2041 is one I still think about today. Willis has a way of bringing a frenetic rom-com energy into a sci-fi setting.

I‘m culling books from the shelves in my parents‘ guest room while we‘re visiting (there‘s more to that story) and finding some interesting things. A collection of futuristic sci-fi stories from 1991, by authors like Jane Yolen, Bruce Coville, Patricia McKillip, and Anne McCaffrey. Not any of their best work.
