6 posts | 7 read | 4 to read
Ben has a problem. When he sleeps he dreams, and when he dreams, they're all nightmares! But he can also jump into other people's dreams. So when his friends start falling victim to an evil dream-monster that prevents them from waking, Ben knows he has to help them. Easier said than done when dreams can shift and the monster knows his way around the ever-changing landscape of the mind! With help from a talking rabbit-companion who has a mysterious past, Ben might just be able to defeat the monster and save his friends . . . if he can figure out how to use the power within him against his enemies.

This was a fun one! This series has been popular at our library, and I‘m trying to catch up on a few of those this weekend.

When Ben realizes he has the power to move in other people‘s dreams he knows it‘s up to him to help his friend and others stuck in a nightmare.

The art was nice but I think meant for a younger audience. Cute overall!

My daughter read this in an hour and has me reading it now. She's had nightmares off and on for a year due to an anxious little mind. She loved this and I think found comfort in it. ❤ the power of books.

Tamra My son enjoyed it too. 😊 7y

Polling speculation is driving me nuts, needed an escape. 😐 Ghosts. 👍 Mighty Jack. 👍 Dream Jumper. 👍 Glad both Mighty Jack and Dream Jumper will have sequels. Starting Red's Planet next. ☺️

brilliantglow This is what I'm doing tonight too. Needed to escape from the stress of my husband getting in an accident and totalling our car and being stranded an hour and a half from home. My picks include I Hate Fairyland and Lumberjanes. Dream jumper and ghosts are on my list I may have to add these other two to my list as well. 8y
Bette @brilliantglow omg! I hope he is alright. 😯 That's awful. I have I Hate Fairyland around here too, saving it. Hope your night improves. And that he gets home alright. Poor car. 😢 8y
brilliantglow He is alright just some scrapes and bruises luckily. Yes poor car I'm so upset. We loved that car and we only bought it 4 months ago and just put brand new tires on it 1 month ago. So frustrating but the important thing is Noone was hurt and my in laws are passing through the city my husband is so they can bring him home. Fairyland is pretty entertaining. I've read 3 issues tonight so far. 8y
brilliantglow The election will be over soon so hopefully that will bring some peace back to your life instead of utter chaos. 8y

Ironically, being at a library conference doesn't leave a lot of time for reading. 😔 Thank God for graphic novels. 😋 This one was fun. I liked the art, the dreams that Ben can step into were nuts, and toward the end I was glad to know there will be more. 😄👍
