Hello everyone!

Round 2 of the #AestheticallyMatched challenge is now open! This round is a BIG one, and has close to 400 images. I have created subfolders for those who would like to pick a specific “genre”, or you can pick and choose which images you‘d like to match a book with. If you want the mega challenge of doing all of them, you can find them in the “ALL PHOTOS” folder. Feel free to backdate to match with any 2022 reads. ⬇️

Clwojick There is no end date for this round, so if you want to keep going after 2022 is over I am totally okay with that! 💖 1mo

Starting the #AwesomeApril #readathon hosted by the amazing @Andrew65 two days early, because why not?!

Let‘s see how far I can make it through my upcoming #ThingsinCommon planned reading. Can anyone guess how I‘ll be matching my books to each other?

Bookzombie Just guessing- first two authors‘ last name start with B, then lips on cover, authors‘ last name start with H, flowers on cover, authors‘ last start with M, animals on the cover, organs in the title, blue on cover, dog on cover, long hair, authors‘ last name starts with T, word in title starts with G, man on cover, pink on cover for three books, name of city on cover… this isn‘t all of them. 🙂 1mo

Clwojick @Eadie I‘ll wait a bit to see if we hear from @Andrew65 , otherwise I‘ll make a post for him next week. Thanks for the details! 1mo
Andrew65 @Clwojick @Eadieb Apologies for my absence, been dealing with a lot as recently diagnosed with Crohn‘s and processing that, then last week was my last week in school with children as head teacher after 19 years. Quite an emotionally charged period. Still tasks to complete and clear out from school but children on holiday now. Last day as a head is officially Monday 18th. Think it will take a lot to get used to being a head is a 365 day a year job! 1mo
Andrew65 Not officially retired. During the Spring and Summer will be doing sone touring before I decide if anything else I want to get involved in within education (remotely due to COvID) from the next school year 1mo
Andrew65 Dates for #AwesomeApril will be 9th April - 17th April, and will also involve a bit of an Easter Egg Hunt. 1mo
EadieB @Andrew65 Good to hear from you. I was starting to get concerned. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Hopefully it will get better once you are more relaxed. I guess you have quite a lot to clear out at school after all the years you have been there. How is the new head doing with their new position? 1mo
Andrew65 @EadieB They don‘t start until Monday 19th but helped their preparation as much as I could. Next week go back in to finish off tasks and clear out 15 years of stuff. Away this week to try to acclimatise to things and build up sone energy. Days so busy been little tine for anything else. 1mo
EadieB @Andrew65 Sounds like you‘re in control and have everything ready for the new person. Have a great holiday and check in when you can and let us know how you are doing. 1mo
Andrew65 @EadieB Hopefully will be in a position to check in daily as usual now. Although nothing still seems real at the moment. 1mo
Clwojick @Andrew65 I‘m so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. ❤️ I‘m sure the next few weeks will be emotional for you while you step away from your position, especially after being there for so long… but I‘m happy to hear your still staying within education. I misunderstood and thought you were fully retiring. 1mo
EadieB @Andrew65 Ok that‘s good! It will take time getting used to the fact that you won‘t have your job hanging over your head all the time. I‘m sure you have some mixed feelings about leaving but I‘m confident that you can make it work with whatever you decide to do. (edited) 1mo
jenniferw88 @Andrew65 I also have Crohn's and live in UK. If you want to chat/discuss/anything else feel free to email me at irene_gulliver@yahoo.co.uk 1mo
Andrew65 @jenniferw88 That‘s very kind, thanks 😍 1mo
Andrew65 @EadieB Yes it will take time to decide what if anything I want to do next and am not rushing. We have been saving for many years to see us through this period, although likely COvID had accelerated it, but that is no bad thing. Will tour this Spring / Summer whilst we consider what next, and seek to establish a new routine in our lives. 1mo
EadieB @Andrew65 Sounds good! Wishing you the best in whatever you decide to do! 1mo

#MarvellousMarch was a success! I managed to finish 26 books, with a couple DNFs thrown in. I made some pretty good progress with my 63 different reading challenges I‘m tracking. Thanks again for the reading inspiration! @Andrew65 💚

Favourite of the week is tagged!

Andrew65 Awesome, thanks for playing along. 👏👏👏🙌🥳 🍾 🥂😍 2mo
melissanorr 63 reading challenges?!?!? I wouldn't even begin to be able to keep track of all that. I'm not nearly organized enough but I admire those who are! 2mo
Clwojick @melissanorr I definitely wouldn‘t be able to keep track of it all with out my bullet journals I have all the prompts written out in 2 bullet journals, and I go through them and fill them in after I finish every couple of books. 😅 I‘ve been calling 2022 #TheYearOfALLtheReadingChallenges! 2mo

Current progress for #MarvellousMarch

Currently reading: We Know You Remember and Every Now and Then.

DNF‘d: Nine Perfect Strangers, Scrappy Little Nobody, and the last story in To Paradise.

The best in the bunch was Mary Jane, and the worst so far was Beau.

Up next: Hard Love by Sara Ney, Broken by Jenny Lawson, and We Can‘t Keep Meeting Like This by Rachel Lynn Solomon

Clwojick Whoops just realizing that Erik by Sawyer Bennett is shown twice. Too lazy to redo the picture 😝 2mo
robinb Would love to hear what you think about this one. 2mo
Andrew65 Sensational 👏👏👏🙌 2mo
Clwojick @robinb I just finished it. It started off really slow, but picked up during the last hour or so. It was a 3 ⭐️ for me. 2mo
robinb @Clwojick I really enjoyed it, and I think it was mostly because of the girls‘ friendships. 2mo
