pickThis book is great to incorporate with literature and history at the same time! Students always know that Washington was our first president, but what else do they know. With this biography (B) they can definitely find out who George Washington really was. Also, I would use this book to incorporate choral reading (CR) to monitor reading from students and to make sure they are paying attention.
