This book is a collection of things that merge together into an interesting history of cows. It has poetry, recipes, animal husbandry, anatomy, horticulture, mythology, religion, anecdotes, bullfighting, art, cultural iconography, & appreciation for the legacy of all things bovine, from dairy cows to beef cattle. Surprisingly enjoyable, interesting, & educational read. Even compelled me to look up a lot of cattle breeds, maps, & art references.
