Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction this is Jungers account of the Boston strangler Albert Desalvo who actually was doing work as a carpenter on his parents house during this time.
This book is not a sequel to The Perfect Storm...
A very good true crime read - an unsettled/unsettling story that was (in typical Sebastian Junger fashion) well-researched and gripping. I'd never heard of this one - thanks to @Liberty for featuring on All the Backlist! (which is a great addition to the All the Books! podcast...fun to be able to check out a TBR add from the library immediately rather than my usual mode of hold list waiting 😁).
