This was a great read! It‘s inspiring! It‘s also nice to be able to take some time and read! It‘s been a while since I have finished books or read this much in a day.

Reading and eating! This book is interesting! Jordan is the world record holder for the youngest person to climb all 7 summits of the world! It‘s very interesting! It‘s incredible to see the amount of determination in this kid and it‘s inspiring for me to do anything!
Tonight was the school wide finals for the National Geographic Geography Bee. ManCub came in 4th! In the end he was up against a 7th grader and 2 8th graders, not bad for a kid in 5th grade. I‘m beyond proud of him but better yet he is proud of himself. All the participants got books this is one of them that he got along with a really nice world atlas. #mombrag #madeitaboutbooks
This kid is unbelievable! He climbed all 7 summits (the largest on each continent) + 1 by age 15. He set world record after world record. I‘m pretty much in awe. The book is cataloged in my library as young adult but I think 5th grade through high school kids would really enjoy it.
Killing time at Starbucks on a cold, rainy night. Starting this book and sipping on a peppermint mocha something and listening to Christmas music (seriously?!)
PS, I‘ve never gotten a fancy drink at Starbucks. l, usually just get a coffee with cream. I‘m going to be on a sugar high tonight 😆
Starting this tonight. True story of the youngest (15) person to climb the seven summits. I do not understand the drive or obsession of mtn climbing, knowing the physical and mental risks one must endure; not to mention the effects of climbing on your loved ones. Nevertheless I am fascinated with the stories and struggles of those who do it.
