So I‘ve decided to write a graphic novel. I‘ve been feeling inspired and I want to dive in... slowly because it‘s a slow process!
Been working on a few books but haven‘t finished one in a while, total I‘m 4 books finished out of my goal of 6. The gym has been hard, but I have been getting my steps. But I‘ll keep moving forward!! #bfcr4 #gobletoffitness @wanderinglynn @crazyspine @jmtrivera @bookandcat
I had my students design bookmarks when they finished projects early! They came out super awesome! I scanned them and printed copies to put in the school library! My students are excited to see their bookmarks out and about... and I get to keep some! These turned out awesome!!
Still working on today but here‘s my weekly check in. I finished 3 books this week! Which is a huge jump! I was sick to the gym didn‘t happen much, but I‘m looking forward to the weeks ahead! #gobletoffitness #bfcr4
Just the motivation I needed to sign up for #bfc @wanderinglynn . Every other BFC I made my goals too hard. I am taking it easy and moving more slowly to my goals. I will read or listen to 1 book a week! I will get 7k steps on weekdays. I will pack healthy school lunches, make dinner at home at least once a week, go to the gym 2-3 days a week, and NO MORE SODA!
This book was great! Sure there were nights it made me fear the dark a bit (I am very easily scared), but it was exciting and kept pulling me in to know what happens next. Apparently it‘s part of a series so I have a few more books to read now! I recommend this one, especially if you‘ve ever had any interest in Jack the Ripper.
I guess I should do this for my swapmate! #litsylove 1. My list should be up to date! 2. As far is bookish items I enjoy earrings and necklaces. 3. I like unicorns but I wouldn‘t say I collect them... yet. I also really like giraffes. 4. My favorite candy is take 5 or any chocolate (not dark)
This book was everything! Eden is a perfect place keeping humanity alive after they destroyed the earth with pollution and the overconsumption of resources. It is Ecopan‘s job and AI to keep humans alive and restore the earth! Ecopan determines Rowan is ready to leave Eden because she has proven herself. So so so so good! I want everyone to read this series!
#summersendreadathon goals I would like to re read Children of Eden and read Elites which I just got!! I also plan to get to my new local library and see what books they have there and just read daily! I‘d like to finish 4 books read and maybe 1-2 audio getting some gym time in! So excited to have a week off! @Clwojick
Found a class set of these in my classroom and I plan to use them this year in my 3D modeling class! It‘s a great tool for learning the basics of Tinkercad and 3D modeling! Excited about this find!!
I‘ve been at New Teacher Induction at school this week and they have us a big goodie bag! And they said to try to read all the books before school starts... I‘ve already had to read First Days of School in college, but it‘ll be a fun 2 weeks getting ready for school!!
When you don‘t feel like shooting archery so you go for something with a little more BANG! #bfcr3 #bookfitnesschallenge I‘m planning to compete in archery as well as pistol this year! Also to make up for not shooting archery I went on a little walk and hit my step goal!!! Finally!!
I read this book and enjoyed it. I also studied Latin in school and learned about Pompeii for a significant amount of time. I‘m looking for recommendations for other good books about Pompeii, fiction and non. I want to write my own story about the time and need more information and I‘m not sure where to look. #pompeii #reccomendationswanted #help #ancientrome
This story has been a wild ride! It‘s a great story and I am excited to hear more! I listen every time I am and the gym and some days when I do dishes. I recommend even though I haven‘t finished it. It speaks about bullying, moving to a new school, friends, and the sometimes lacking of the school on their part of the bullying.
Didn‘t meet my step goal, but I made it to the gym 3 days this week and shot archery once. There was one day I missed my fruit but I did well this week #bfcr3
This is my spoiler post about this book. Holy moly!! This was a wild ride. It seemed normal enough at first, still a messy marital situation for our protagonist Thursday, but people are into different stuff, no big deal. Then further along in the story she goes crazy, well the people around her make her believe she is crazy! Or do they?!? Is she really crazy... I‘m not entirely sure! I will probably ready it again to make sure.
This book got me hooked almost right away and it sucked me in I finished it in my 3rd sitting with the book because I constantly wanted to know more than the narrator was providing. There is a lot I want to say about it, but too much more would be spoilers. I‘ll post a separate post with my spoilers. Wild ride @Lovesbooks87 @aroc @EH2018 also I sent my book out a bit ago; moving got me all messed up.
This week was pretty good as far as steps I made it to the gym 4 times! Still unpacking and today I haven‘t done anything yet which is why the steps are so low. Today will be spent unpacking and reading! I finished 1 book this week, aiming for 2 by the end of the day! #bfcr2 kicked my butt a little, but here‘s to a better round 3 @crazyspine @wanderinglynn #keepmovingforward
Fossil app updated (my smart watch) so no info for wed this week here, but the rest of my week was solid as far as step count!!! I feel pretty good about it! I finished ... one maybe 2 books this week! Which is awesome! I made it to the gym 5 days!! No archery because of moving craziness, but other than that things are going well. #bfcr2 @crazyspine @wanderinglynn #bookfitnesschallenge
Which one should I listen to next? I have :Vincent and Theo (tagged), The Name of the Star, and Yaqui Delgado wants to Kick Your A$$. Anyone have any input on which ones are better? I am looking forward to Vincent and Theo because Vincent is a fantastic artist and I think it would be a lovely story to listen to!
This book was interesting. I am not in love and it was a nice change of setting for a bit, taking place in Australia and about a 4th grade (ish) class of 11 little girls who lose their teacher. It was interesting but not something I would look to listen to again. I have nothing against the book, but it didn‘t grab me as me as some other books do.
