Bailedbailed

Absolutely not for me. I love the show on TV but this is so gross and sexist I had to bail immediately. These guys should feel particularly dirty after the super sexualizing they did of a girl that's supposed to be 15-16. Why don't you just draw all the women naked next time and be done with it? Gross. 😡Is there a Supergirl comic out there that's not so male fantasy centered?

queerbookreader Yes check out the New 52 Supergirl series 7y
queerbookreader It's not nearly as bad as this one. I've stayed 100000 ft away from this series it looks so horrible 7y
queerbookreader The new 52 series is her beating the shit out of everyone and everything and that's my jam 7y
stacybmartin @lemonlime799 thank you!! Just put it on hold at my library! 💙 7y

Shepherd's pie and Supergirl on a drizzly Thursday afternoon. I have been in a bit of a reading slump after Do Not Say We Have Nothing. Haven't managed to read a book of fiction that has really stuck with me yet. Instead there have been #comics and graphic novels!
How do you get over a reading slump?

Handmade_Redhead I just let it ride and do something else. Eventually a book will pop up that grabs my attention. I listen to a lot of bookish podcasts, so that helps. 7y
ReadingOver50 Try magazines for awhile 7y
Tsubame When I'm in a reading slump I feel as if I'm supposed to be doing other things and so I invest more time in other interests. But one day I inevitably have the urge to go to the bookstore and there a book calls out to me and then I'm out of the slump 😊 7y
Lindy Following up an outstanding book with anything else is hard for me too. I do what @Handmade_Redhead does and catch up on podcasts, or else I read comics. 7y
prowlix I usually try a reread of a favorite or a fast paced suspense/horror to get out of a slump. Really anything you consider a page turner might help. I know romance is another genre people try 7y
