Canto, Vol. 1: If I Only Had A Heart
Canto, Vol. 1: If I Only Had A Heart | David Booher
1 post | 3 read
Enslaved for generations, Cantos people once had hearts. Now they have clocks. They are forbidden to love, yet Canto loves a little tin girl. When slavers damage her clock beyond repair, Canto embarks on an incredible journey through his strange and fantastic world to bring back her heart. Hailed as a truly entertaining and striking modern fairy tale (Newsarama) and a beautiful and heartfelt story about love and heroism (The Brazen Bull), Canto is an all-ages adventure for past and present generations alike. Inspired by The Wizard of Oz and Dantes Inferno. Part fantasy. Part adventure. All heart.

Dropping off/picking up books at the library, my nose was beguiled by the delicate spring perfume of butter pies from the bakery across the square, and I couldn't resist #NorthernDelicacy
The book is a graphic novel inspired by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, of which I've only seen the film, not read the book. Hopefully I'll still get the references.

DivineDiana I am smelling the perfume across the pond. 👃🏻 🥧 😂 13mo
