When a girl disappears in the woods, her friends decide to form a search party and look for her themselves. The story is told thru different viewpoints to reveal a twist ending. I really enjoyed this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was definitely an interesting mystery. I liked the way the author approached the story, splitting the narrative into different points of view that kept you guessing what was true while slowly revealing what had really happened. Although I had my suspicions, it kept me guessing until the end.

At times this felt like a bunch of bratty teens being mean to each other in the name of friendship...I felt a “with friends like these...who needs enemies“ kind of vibe. By the end, it became something else, as it slowly insinuated itself under my skin without me even realizing it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A gripping thriller. When teenager Sadie vanishes and the police cannot find her, her friends form a search party of their own. Deep in the woods, friendship turns to suspicion.

What a dark and twisted thriller this was. The story is told by the friends and the detective investigating the case. It jumps from present to the past week adding further depth to the story. The plot is steady and you're never quite sure who did what. I did however guess the very last twist but thought it was well done abd really ended the story right. The ending was really good. #Netgalley 4*
