Five old college friends meet up every year. This time Helen - the girl with a horror fixation and a fear of being attacked in a bathroom by a bloodthirsty assailant - has chosen the venue: Totem Pole Lodge, a deserted hotel with a sinister past. Before long they will find out that it isn't completely deserted. And Helen is just dying to take a shower ...

I have a lot of trouble sleeping these days, up since 3:40 today. But that means I got to finish Blood Games and Ararat by Christopher Golden. Blood Games though ❤️ 5 college friends meet up yearly for an adventure chosen by one, unfortunately this year it is an abandoned and isolated hotel that was the site of an unsolved mass murder some years before. Things go badly. This was a really tense read from the beginning, and did not disappoint.

There is a 3rd black cat but I couldn‘t get the camera right. I am LOVING this book so much, flying through it. Celebrating my wedding anniversary a day early today (12 year ❤️) by doing my favourite thing, used book shopping!

Lucy_Anywhere What a handsome pair! Congrats on your wedding anniversary- used book shopping sounds like a purrfect (sorry, couldn‘t resist) way to celebrate 3y

Really feeling the need for horror and gore in my life, thankfully I have a shelf packed with horror for just those moods. 🥰

Meh. Fun but predictable horror story. A bit too much casual sexism and body shaming for my taste.
