This is the second book in the Splatter Western series and again I'm very impressed.

It's such a page turner, full of action and memorable characters.

Most of all I enjoyed the writing, it was very descriptive, never boring and was well edited - straight to the point with no padding.

I thought a western horror novel would add some variety to my October list. In this tale a dreaded wendigo destroys everyone who crosses its path before terrorizing the locals in the town of Duncan. The writer did a sold job of straddling the pulpy concept without falling into ridiculousness while adding enough weight to the plot and personality to the characters that this book was more serious and engaging than it has any right to be!
