Starting my summer book club‘s June book.
pickA hospital chaplain goes through her experiences of one night shift, including flashbacks to her own childhood, her views on the soul, and near death experiences. An odd little book of dogs & spirituality but I was utterly absorbed and will seek out more by this author.
I spent very little of last month reading and most of it playing the video game Spiritfarer, where I ferried souls on to the afterlife, so this felt liked a continuation of theme.
