pick
A couple of years ago, the entire recycling market changed. As a result, I hardly have any curbside recycling available with my trash pickup. Goldstein explains why, offers alternative solutions, and encourages readers to track their household waste for a month to see just how much they create. It‘s short, clearly written, and full of action steps and worksheets.

valeriegeary Such a disappointment to find out recycling was a fraud. 😥💔 I might have to pick this one up... Sounds like it could be useful! 4y
tjwill My county waste disposal doesn‘t do ANY recycling anymore. They were down to just cardboard, newspaper, and thin plastics, and now nothing. It‘s so discouraging because our previous home had single-stream recycling, and our home city before that recycled a long list of items. 4y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @valeriegeary @tjwill Yes, it IS upsetting to find that recycling was a for-profit activity, not designed to just save the earth. And now that China changed their policies, nobody makes much money anymore. It‘s so frustrating. Even finding other services to take stuff is hard. But I like how Goldstein tries to gather as much info in one place as she can. 4y
