Pickpick

A good contemporary/sci-fi mix with an interesting premise. Starts off a bit slow & carries a languid pace through the majority of the book. The result is a higher emotional impact & semi-dreamlike state. All of the emotions & thoughts were presented in a way that felt genuine & impactful. The writing was very open & raw, delivering in a way that wholly wrapped me up in the story. I did struggle with the ending, since open endings are hard for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed this read! It was so magical! Faye lost her mother as a child, but was able to find her again through time travel. This is something that many of us who have lost somebody would love to do! But the story doesn‘t end there. This wasn‘t a sad story, it was funny at times and it was very hard to put down. Thanks, Goodreads, for the ARC!
