Pickpick

With his well-known warmth and understanding Schmitt wrote a fifth Gospel, where Pilate tries to make sense of the Easter story. He's searching, researching, asking questions. Just as we do. This book can be read by anyone, just as all the books by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt. It's a spiritual journey, a journey to find oneself and one's own way in this life, that sometimes doesn't seem to make any sense.

TheAromaofBooks Great review!! Have you ever read The Robe by Lloyd Douglas? 5y
Jari-chan @TheAromaofBooks Thank you 😊 No, I haven't, I need to look it up 😊 5y
TheAromaofBooks It's an older book but has a similar theme - it follows the journey of the Roman soldier who crucified Jesus. I haven't read it in years but remember it being rather exciting. 5y
Jari-chan @TheAromaofBooks Thank you for the tip! That sounds really interesting! 5y
