First book by this author and it‘s a book club read so I ploughed through until the end. For me the first 50 pages were pointless and another 100 could have been removed to make it a more fast paced read. The story was too flat for me and very predictable. I wouldn‘t read another of hers

I found this story riveting.The murder of a young girl from many years ago with new dna evidence linked to one of the males in a family. A little slow to start with but once it gets going it‘s a great mystery full of family tensions, lies and secrecy. I didn‘t guess the ending either which is always good 😊

Well what an emotional rollercoaster ride this was. Its not particularly creepy but it does have you gripped and dreading the results. Its a slow start but once it gets going I was turning the pages needing to know more. Its a thrill ride from who the DNA match might be to then the final truth of the killer's identity. The big reveal was very clever and did take me by surprise but I liked the way it turned out. #Netgalley 5*
