It was a great year for manga, with only a handful of titles being stinkers and a huge pile being good if not great. Some of my absolute favorites this year include continuing series Chi‘s Sweet Home and Ajin: Demi-Human, and new series—Attack on Titan, Immortal Hounds, and Wandering Island. I can only hope 2018 offers the same wealth of titles 😁 #favouritebooks2017
pickAjin started off as a decent series, but seems to improve as it goes. I'm loving the great action, the interesting characters, and the great plot flow that continues to reveal a little more about the Demi-humans and their abilities every volume.
One thing I LOVE about this series is that Sakurai (or someone responsible for this title's creation) lists the assistants and what work they did on the book.
Its shaping up to being a favorite series.
