The National Geographic Society book by Cheryl Harness is a B on Abe Lincoln in his early life, and can be used in class as a CR. Students will get an inside look on what his life was like from early ages to 28. A choral read would be best when discussing his life, asking students questions throughout. https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/lesson-plans/teaching-content/introducing-bi... #ucflae3414sp21

Adodd1 The link talks about introducing biographies to your class. The UDL strategy best fit would be 3.1, activate or supply background knowledge. The ESOL strategy best fit would be 20, to list most important words and phrases. 4y
DrSpalding Your universal design and English learner strategies work nicely however English learner strategy 28 is best as it actually promotes providing biographies to elementary students. 4y
