pickI read Patchett‘s introduction to this volume in her essay collection This Is the Story of a Happy Marriage and had to read the collection. They‘re all great stories, but the jewel in the crown is Ann Beattie‘s “Mr. Nobody at All.” I‘ll have to look for her other work.
