I finished the tagged recently. I always want everyone to read Wendell Berry‘s books, whether they choose his novels, essays, or poetry. I keep thinking he‘s written his last book because he‘s at least 90 now, but then he‘ll publish another. He‘s an amazing man & has influenced many authors. #sundayfunday @BookmarkTavern

BookmarkTavern I‘ve had Berry on my TBR for a while! I should definitely give him a try. Thanks for posting! 6d
Scochrane26 @BookmarkTavern The tagged isn‘t the best one to start with. If you‘re going to read his novels, I suggest The Memory of Old Jack or Hannah Coulter to start. 6d
Amiable I think I‘ve only read 6d
BookmarkTavern I‘ll keep that in mind! Thanks for the recs! 😁 6d
Scochrane26 @Amiable My favorites are Hannah Coulter & Fidelity. Fidelity is short stories (he has several short story books) 6d

This was a co-favorite in November. The subtitle (a sane person‘s guide to taking back the Bible from fundamentalists, fascists, and flock-fleecing frauds) kind of says it all. #sundayfunday

Anyone who loves animals should read this. This book features the seven-week-long tale of Guard Dog‘s unchaining and adoption, an illustrated history of Guard Dog (written by Patrick McDonnell), real-life rescue stories, and empowering information from voices in the animal welfare community. One of only TWO 5-star reads for me this year. (the other was LES MISERABLES). From a comic book to an epic! 🤣

BookmarkTavern Oh that sounds very sweet! Thanks for posting! 6d

I really loved this book! This had a whole slew of my favorite things in stories. Time travel, the power of stories, a lady knight, fantastical Arthurian vibes.

Probably my favorite book of Harrow‘s so far. 💖

#SundayFunday Hope you all are doing well, and let‘s hope for a better 2026! Don‘t forget to tag me in your posts!

staci.reads I was hoping to get a copy of that one for Christmas and didn't, so I will have to buy it for myself soon! 😂 6d
