Nick Pearson (not his real name) takes us on a wild ride from one identity to another, just trying to blend in... Recommend 💖
I started reading this book 2 weeks ago, but it wasn‘t a page turner and it didn‘t hook me. There was so much going on I didn‘t really understand the authors perspective. The book had too many characters, so you couldn‘t really understand what was happening. I made it too page 23 and stopped.
A legit exciting YA mystery-thriller. Some nice twists and turns. Doesn‘t get too mired down in YA cliches.
The YA thriller is a very underserved market. I‘m liking this book so far.
This was a good listen. Definitely a story that will keep my students' attention. This is going on my book order list for the year for sure!
I love Lamar Giles' books. Fake ID delivers a great murder mystery focused on a boy whose family is in the Witness Protection Program. Nick Pearson and his parents struggle to build a home, taking the long way there. Seemed appropriate to include my shelter dog Wicket in this pic, since he recently found a home with my family. #YALit #youngadultbooks #mystery #murder #murdermystery #LamarGiles #FakeID #WitnessProtection #conspiracy #WicketsWorld
Not my normal genre, but a fast paced, action-packed mystery that kept me turning pages.
